Bel Cantanti Opera and New Dominion Chorale, under the leadership of its founder and artistic director, Thomas Beveridge presented an outstanding concert of arias, scenes and opera choruses on Sunday, October 24 at Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center of the Alexandria campus of Northern Virginia Community College.
The concert, Great Opera Moments, featured soloists who perform with the Metropolitan Opera Company, including Shannon Roberts, soprano; Kevin Courtemanche, tenor; and Mikhail Svetlov, bass. Katerina Souvorova, artistic director of Bel Cantanti, provided the piano accompaniment to the program.
